Modeled after the United Nations, Toronto's City Hall serves as the host for Toronto's city council chambers, as well handling municipal legal issues (i.e. marriage & liquor licenses). Scott Thompson tells us this is called the new City Hall, but it really is 39 years old; "old" City Hall is located on the east side of Bay Street at Queen, visible from New City Hall. Toronto City Hall can be found at 100 Queen Street West, just west of Bay Street You can call City Hall at (416) 338-0338. |
Take Yonge-University-Spadina subway line to Queen Station. Head west along Queen Street West to Toronto City Hall, on the north side of Queen Street West, at Bay Street.
As well, Toronto City Hall can be accessed via the underground PATH system from either Queen or Osgoode Station.
